Tyler blushed the entire way to the restaurant. This is nice, she thought, squeezing the latter’s hand lightly. They got to the restaurant just in time, getting the last table, with the complimentary glares from a few other people around the place when they walked in. Now that they were alone though, there was a bit of… reality. They were all on their own now, they were there, they were on their date… and that could only lead to embarrassment and awkwardness. They got their table, and Tyler nervously sighed as she sat down, letting go of the brunette’s hand. “I hope this place is alright. I didn’t know where to go,” she said. “Just, uh, what kind of pizza do you want?”
Jessica was lost in a trace. Such a fantasy like situation. Surreal happenings, Jessica couldn’t help but to be caught up in her fantasy. A world where everything is perfect. Tyler’s words suddenly snapping Jessica out of her dream. This wasn’t her ‘perfect world’. She dazed into the eyes of the one she admired. What had she intended by this…date? ”This place is fine” As long as I have you. “Pizza.. how about… err..the pizza-y kind?” She laughed, nervousness choking into her.
Tyler smiled. She’s so cute. She grabbed her hand from across the table. “Hey, calm down,” she kindly said. “I mean, to be honest, it’s my first…date, and I’m pretty fucking nervous too. But, let’s try to have fun, yeah? You deserve it.” She took a moment to think of something to say. “So, why don’t we just get pepperoni or something, yeah?”
Tyler gulped, trying to remember what to do or say.She hesitantly held her hand out for Jessica to hold, hoping that maybe hand holding would calm the both of them down after remembering what the internet had told her. “Let’s go then, shall we?”
Jessica blinked a few times trying to understand the reason a hand was being held out to her. Does she want me to hold her hand? She couldn’t fathom whether it was just wishful thinking or logical thinking. “Let’s go.” Smiling at the shorter woman, she took the later’s hand, interlocking fingers and, taking advantage of the situation, she moved her body closer.

Tyler chuckled. “Thank you, you look pretty,” She said. “Well, uh…I thought we could go get some dinner? I was planning on pizza, but if you don’t like pizza, we could do whatever you want.”
Jessica felt her face heat, Tyler’s straightforward gestures always seeming like a mystery to her. Not knowing her true intentions. “Pizza’s good, nice, great. It’s great.” She smiled nervously, not knowing what to do or say next. It was, after all, her first date.

Tyler’d been sitting in her car for ten minutes now, looking in the mirror to check her hair, teeth, and makeup and checking her purse to see if she had enough money for the both of them repeatedly. She wanted for this date to be perfect more than anything. It’s ridiculous, because she’s got no problem talking to her at school. But, it’s her first date with her and this wasn’t about school work. Also, it didn’t make things better that she really liked her. One small mistake, it could ruin the brunette’s entire opinion on her. So, it’s a good thing she learned some tactics from the internet. At least, she hopes it’s a good thing. Tyler sighed before getting out of her car and immediately spotting Jessica. She walked towards her, smiling when they’ve made eye contact. “Hi.”
Jessica smiled brightly, watching as the blond-haired girl approached. “Hi” She jolted from her seat, smiling as charmingly as she could she tried to gulp down her nervousness and let the words she’d been practising so hard, leave her mouth. Alright, casual but not too casual. Ready, set, g- “HiHeHeyYo” Her inner debate of what to say caused her words to trip over, blushing she regained her self. “I mean, hi.” She smiled taking in the latter’s attire, “You ah, look nice!” She held back the urge to say what she actually thought. Something that would leave both feeling awkward, she assured herself. Jessica’s grin widened as she eagerly eyed Tyler. “So…?”
Tyler chuckled. “Thank you, you look pretty,” She said. “Well, uh…I thought we could go get some dinner? I was planning on pizza, but if you don’t like pizza, we could do whatever you want.”
She bit her lip down and eyed the face staring back at her. She adjusted her bangs, staring back into the pouting face, her face. Jessica smiled, “Hi” She practised into the glass of the shop. “Hello” She sighed, retreating from the glass and slumping on to a nearby bench. “Hey.” She cursed mentally, no no too casual. She stood up franticly pacing around the bench. She glanced down at her watch, the numbers shinning into her brown orbs. The arranged time had yet to be passed, the young Chang had even arrived early, so why was she so impatient? She sat down on the bench again, brushing down the folds in the skirt of her dress. It probably wasn’t the occasion to dress so nicely, but she couldn’t help herself. She needed to look her best. Her eyes scanned the vicinity quickly, eagerly looking of a certain blondie. She sighed nervously, rehearsing her greeting over in her head like a melody.
